Dr. Alissa Edoff is a Colorado native, and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University. She spent a semester abroad in Australia where she developed a passion for traveling. She decided to attend veterinary school in Glasgow, Scotland, just like her hero James Herriot. She graduated with a degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery in 2015. She was fortunate to be able to obtain veterinary experience all over Europe and Africa! After practicing in mixed animal and small animal general practice, she developed a special interest in complementary and alternative veterinary medicine. She became certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture in 2016 and Canine Rehabilitation in 2018. She also has further training in Botanical Medicine and Medical Massage Therapy. She also plans to become certified in Equine Massage Therapy and Equine Rehabilitation.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling the world, horseback riding, weight training, yoga, reading, hiking and spending time with her husband and our dogs, Harley Bogart and Freya. They also have two cats, Vixen and Salem. Vixen is a Colorado native, but was lucky enough to live in Scotland too!
