Dr. Andrew Claude is associate professor and service chief of veterinary anesthesiology at the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine.  He received his DVM from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992.  After doing general practice for thirteen years he returned to Iowa State where he completed a residency in comparative veterinary anesthesiology.  In September of 2015 Dr. Claude earned diplomat status in the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia. Prior to coming to Michigan State in 2016, he was on faculty at the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine for seven years. Dr. Claude’s special interests include cardiopulmonary physiology, pain management, and locoregional anesthesia.
