Dr. Annie Glenn-Blea graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine and went on to complete an internship at Pioneer Equine Hospital in Oakdale, CA. From there, she worked in a large performance horse practice in Orange County, CA, before moving to head up the equine division of a mixed animal practice in northern Arizona. California came calling again, and she returned to opened her own practice, Katy G Equine, in 1997, serving Los Angeles and Orange counties. She practiced full time as a performance horse practitioner for 15 years before taking a bit of a parenting hiatus. In 2019, she decided to return to school and earned her certificate of Veterinary Medical Acupuncture from CuraCore. Katy G Equine now operates as a practice which solely focuses on integrative medicine and acupuncture with an emphasis on recovery and rehabilitation of the performance horse. In her spare time, she and her husband enjoy watching their daughters thrive in their school sports: softball, cross country and equestrian.
