Dr. Hayley Sullivan is a Southern California native and graduate from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship at Peterson & Smith Equine Hospital and an equine sports medicine and rehabilitation residency at Colorado State University. While at CSU, she obtained a master’s degree through the Orthopedic Research Center. She is currently an associate veterinarian of sports medicine and rehabilitation at Kentucky Equine Hospital. She is certified in veterinary medical acupuncture through CuraCore Academy, where she also instructs acupuncture and rehabilitation. Her research interests include the effect of lameness on the axial skeleton, musculoskeletal imaging, and optimizing rehabilitation programs in equine athletes. Outside of work she enjoys three-day eventing, skiing, and live music.
