Dr. Steve Chiasson is originally from Sydney, a small town in Nova Scotia, Canada. After completing pre-vet studies at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College, he received his DVM from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 1995 and completed the MAV program in 2016. Steve has been working in veterinary practice in Abbotsford, British Columbia since 1995, and is an owner of Agwest Veterinary Group Ltd., a 5 doctor large animal practice. His particular areas of interest include acupuncture, lameness, undergraduate teaching, and technology implementation into veterinary medicine. Downtime usually finds Steve and his family traveling BC and Canada attending their kids’ sporting activities.
