Sharon Sherwood – Education and Event Director

Originally from Michigan, Sharon and her family moved to Colorado in 1994.  While she has always owned dogs, she began showing Golden Retrievers in 1996, that’s set off a passion that’s lasted decades.  She worked for a large Chamber of Commerce for over 10 years, which brings her experience of business building and event planning to CuraCore.  Couple that with her connection to the professional canine sports world, contributes to some of the best animal volunteers a program could have.  Sharon now has only Welsh Springer Spaniels – some of which are Best in Show, and top winning dogs, both breed and all breed.  When she’s not in the office, you can guarantee she’s either at a dog show or in her backyard gardens with her husband David and her crew of Welshies.
